The odd thing is that...Thomas somehow finds himself deeply embedded and very wanted in every single historic event: WWI, communist revolution, the crash of WS stock market, and the rise of Fascism. Surely he's not ALWAYS needed in every occasion, but sure, for manufactured drama.
