Funny(?), witty(?), healthy dose of cynicism(?), moderately attractive female senior(?), most of all, compassionate through and through(?); very best kind of British comedy: make your day and then feel guilty about wasting your life (watching it)
I hated Gillian in s2&3 but I got to feel sympathy for her in this season. No doubt she probably ‘deserved’ it, but nonetheless it is still a shame. E9 dear Richard. E12 oh dear dear richard.
